There are a lot of government and municipal offices at the area outside the site of Sasayama Castle, where Homeigijuku School once stood.
Taisho Romankan, completed in April, 1923, the most modern building in Sasayama at that time, is valuable as a western-style building typical of Meiji or Taisho era. Now it works as a tourist information, a souvenir shop and a restaurant.
